Brown pitched Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre on the idea of bringing Tupac on stage with them as a hologram…. and the rest was history. But the most impressive part of this unforgettable feat was Dylan’s ability to execute on something that had never been done.

Tasked by the ad agency and SPRITE with directing a promotional video for the first National “Step Off” Contest, Brown’s spot generated so much hype for the tournament it was used to pitch a reality show about the competition, which would eventually air on MTV.

While in the “green room” for a music video Brown was directing, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa devised a plan to make an album and a movie. They subsequently asked Dylan to produce and direct what would become the stoner comdey, MAC & DEVIN GO TO HIGH SCHOOL.

In a post-apocalyptic future, Snoop Dogg and T-Pain are summoned to bring the party to an underground club run by a powerful sect of women Lords.

With partners Shondaland, and iHeart Media, Brown’s 8-part scripted series about a traffic stop gone bad, tells a gripping tale of a nation grappling with race, police brutality, and the unfathomable power of social media. Dylan wrote, directed and produced the project and the show’s cast is anchored by actors Amin Joseph, Steve Harris, Haley Joel Osment, Pooch Hall and Snoop Dogg

Coming off the success of “Drop It Like It’s Hot”, his first number #1 hit single on the billboards charts, Snoop Dogg convinced his record label to fund an independent movie based on the album. Soon after, he tapped Brown to write, direct and produce the project.
